However, it is his ability to mix this extraordinary skill with his own heartfelt lyrics and rich, soulful voice that have led to Rodney Branigan becoming one of the most followed global performers of the moment. “The revelation of the year or even the decade” (Crossroads Magazine, France) A passion for musical diversity has seen Rodney travel the world with his own, inimitable style of musicianship. Having toured his native America coast-to-coast, Rodney’s desire to share his fusion of organic progressive folk with undertones of rock, flamenco, classical, bluegrass and jazz have also seen him play China as well as France, Germany and Switzerland; earning him love from new fans and respect from established musicians alike.

Rodney Branigan the songwriter is a truly gifted man. Rodney Branigan the performer has to be seen to be believed. Boogers has always respected his musical loves of yesteryear. Fan of the first hour of Weezer and science of power-pop (and certainly their mindlessly mercantile brilliant ideas such as the festival organized on a cruise ship in 2010), he has never hidden shameful to seek to the indie sphere: a tube, a well dégelasse but filled with love. Melodies that hums on hand, that make us ashamed of being as happy like the feel good-movies of John Hughes. To get an unstoppable revolutionary technique: have none. A picture of a Bronx DJ cellar punk unfamiliar with the term hard disk, Boogers stores of ideas in his brain stocks, carries out industrial quantities of choruses that chaloupent on his synth, guitar or Windows 98 then assembles all to extract hits. When it lacks the bright idea, it relies on its Google friend and like a digger vinyl archaeologist he takes his hat forgotten soundtracks to give them a second life
