Pascal MANGLOU is described as one of the most talented guitar players in the Indian Ocean. His music reflected his influences from rock, jazz and maloya ( traditional music from his Island).He performed with many bands, such as Ziskakan (famous band from Reunion Island, awarded best group in the « Afro Carribean Arts Prize » in 2008). At once guitar player, sound engineer, producer and arranger for several artists, singers and advertisements, Pascal has exported his talent in the international stage. He met and performed with famous bands in Europe, Morocco, South Africa, India, Mauritius …In 2012, he created his own pop/rock band,MANGLOO The band made their 1st tour in India in Feb & March 2014 to present "Fireflies".

Shenkar is widely considered a living legend and a musical genius by his peers who hold him in the highest esteem. Shenkar is a vocalist extraordinaire, multi instrumentalist and producer who has sold over 50 million albums through his solo projects and collaborations with other artists around the world. His latest EDM Album "THE REVELATION" is a mind blowing effort which pushes the boundaries. He has collaborated with artists such as Frank Zappa, Phil Collins, Sting, Bruce Sprinsteen, Peter Gabriel, Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Jonathan Davis (Korn), Michael Jackson, Madonna, U2 and more. Shenkar created and designed his own invention, the 10 string stereophonic Double Violin, which covers the entire range of the orchestra. Shenkar has worked on numerous world-famous soundtracks, PRESS KIT – GLOBAL ISAI FESTIVAL 2014 including the Grammy Award winning and controversial, "The Last Temptation of Christ", by the legendary film maker Martin Scorsese. He co-wrote many of the tracks with Peter Gabriel and his vocals are featured throughout the movie. In 2004, he also composed music and performed vocals on Mel Gibson's "The Passion of Christ". His unmistakable and haunting voice can be heard throughout the movie. Shenkar's music was featured in the 2005 Oscar winning documentary "Born into Brothels". Shenkar's many collaborations have brought him International fame and legions of fans across the globe.
Blessing Chimanga is a 24 year old talented and passionate musician who plays 3 instruments namely Drums, Marimba and Percussion. He is also a music director, arranger, songwriter and singer. Blessing did his primary education at Haig Park School in Harare where he started his music career as a percussion and piano playe. He moved to Prince Edward in 2004 for his secondary education were he furthered his music journey. He joined the Jazz Band and was an active member and leader for the years he was at Prince Edward. He has coached and mentored music at various schools in Zimbabwe such as Watershed College, Harare International School, Winad Musicology and Chisipite Senior School. Blessing started his professional music career in 2006 when he started to play for the late Sam Mtukudzi and from that time he has played with many musicians in Zimbabwe and internationally such as Hope Masike, Busi Ncube, Dudu Manhenga, Chiwoniso Maraire, Chikwata 263 and Tariro Negitare. He has played with International musicians such as Eric Wainaina (Kenya), Mike Del Ferro (Netherlands), Amanda Labanda (Italy), Ary Morais (Norway), Michael W. Smith (USA), Sona Jobarteh (UK) and Dan Zanes (USA). He has also performed at big stages and festivals locally and internationally such as HIFA, Stubbetorpet Festival in (Sweden), Umoja Festival (Mozambique), Barefeet Festival (Zambia), Italian River Blues Festival, 3rd European Blues Challenge (Italy), Ameno Blues (Italy), and Iguazu En Concierto (Argentina) among others.

Award winning guitarist Maneli Jamal has wowed audiences around the world with his visual style of playing acoustic guitar. He incorporates many musical textures in his performances while keeping rhythm with his two hands but you'll swear he has a trio with him. Acoustic guitarist Maneli Jamal has lived in five different countries (Iran, Belarus, Germany, USA, Canada) and moved twenty times by the time he was 18. The young artist gained a sense of musical maturity rarely seen among his peers especially when he transforms his nomadic life experiences into musical movements using extended guitar techniques. There aren't many players in his style that have Jamal's balance of power and sensitivity, nor his breadth of ideas. His rhythmic concepts can be alternately short and dense, or explored carefully through several movements and real life stories. This becomes evident with having won countless music competitions around the world including most recently placing 1st at Canada's Soundclash Music Awards. Having been brought up in a purely artistic and musical family has contributed to shape his unique and comical story telling approach in live settings. He has already performed in over 10 countries as a solo performer, has a signature model acoustic guitar named after him and was on the front cover of 2015 Toronto magazine (500,000 copies distributed worldwide). The world is his home and he plays from one end to the other.

They have a permanent gig in the first station site In Jerusalem. The rumours of the live playing jazz band in the first station went fast and they got an offer to play in the United Islands Festival 2014 in Prague. The Five musicians gathered up in a garage rehearsing space and started creating recipes for the event from their original music. Since then the band performed in several different venues such as the "Globus International Jazz Fest" in Jerusalem and the Yellow Submarine showcase. The band recorded their first debut albums "Recipe" on Feb.1 2015 contacts for tours in Thailand and Nepal are promised in November 2015.

Matthias is a graduate of the College of Music at Sulzbach-Rosenberg, and studied classical and jazz guitar as well as composition and arranging at the Munich Guitar Institute and the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. Over the several decades of his musical career, he has toured internationally and played in many styles; he frequently composes music for film and television.
Matthias’ compelling interest in Indian classical music led him to study Carnatic Music (South Indian style), affording him opportunities to play and collaborate with some of the finest Indian players of our time, such as Dr. L. Subramaniam, Sivamani, Tanmoy Bose, Bickram Gosh, Debashish Bhattacharya and world music Grammy Award winner Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.
John Anthony's kARNATRiix is a soul-soothing culmination of experiments with different styles and sounds with elements of jazz, blues, rock, trance, funk, and classical music in perfect harmony with the Carnatic kritis of Saint Thyagaraja. John Anthony, the architect of kARNATRiix plays guitar and has put together a band of young, talented and creative minds that will form the core of this eclectic sound. Says John Antony: "Our music is an extension of our soul and freewill. We believe strongly in our freedom to express ourselves by doing what we do best and; making music and ultimately experiencing it. We hope other people too can share our experience." He has travelled extensively - China, Russia, Germany, Sri Lanka, UAE etc. A major feat was the "No More Bhopals" live concert - an audience of over 5000 people, the concert was his personal commitment to address the struggle of the survivors of the Bhopal gas tragedy. The concert, featuring musicians from all over India was organized to bid farewell to Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior from Chennai. Coincidentally, this project marked a milestone in John's life as he bid farewell to the film industry for which he had prodigiously played for a long time and propelled him into the realm of creating/composing the music for which he has been hailed for. Another project dear to John's heart is the "Share the Love" concert in Sri Lanka, organized in aid of the children who suffered the impact of war, for which John was personally invited by the Sri Lankan government to perform. He has also contributed immensely to theatre productions, the most popular one being 'PrahaladaCharitram' directed by the famous Gil Alonand written by senior playwright Na. Muthuswamy. John looks forward to working with more local and international artists in his relentless pursuit to create something unique. Aditi's musical journey began very early in life. She inherited her keen sense of music and rhythm from her mother Smt. Ragini Bhagwat who is a trained classical singer and who dedicated most of her time listening to music and making every note perfect. Aditi carried this tradition further after starting to learn the classical dance at a tender age of 4 years. She began rigorous training in the Jaipur style of"Kathak" dance under Padmashri Dr.Roshan Kumari with strict discipline and ethics. She has also received the able guidance of Kathak exponent Smt. Nandita Puri. Having secured a masters in Psychology, Aditi did her masters in Kathak dance from the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She is an A graded artist of the Doordarshan Kendra and impanelled with the Indian Council of Cultural Relations. She has received the title of "Nalanda Nritya Nipun" from the Nalanda Dance and Research Academy, Mumbai. Besides Kathak, Aditi takes special interest in performing the Maharashtrian folk dance Lavani. She also received training in "Odissi" by Smt. Jhelum Paranjpe and owes her grooming in Abhinaya(expressions) and graceful posture to Odissi.

Nyna Vales is a well-known French Music Group. They are a duo of both classical and pop French music. The group's music is composed by Yann Savel, a popular guitarist and Nathalie Carudel, the main singer of the band. Nyna Valessings primarily French popular music and blends pop, jazz, reggae, boss nova, electro and so on in their style. Nyna Vales is interested in exploring and collaborating with Indian artists for their 3rd album. They would like to enhance their music with Indian vocalists and instrumentalists. The group also aims to conduct concerts in Tamil Nadu and France. They are also eager to work with student amateur choirs. A project of a similar kind with students has already been executed by Nyna Vales in China in 2012 and Mongolia.

Setting out to begin a new trend of Hip Hop and Rap in India, Brodha V is from The Machas With Attitude (MWA), a popular Indian Hip-Hop crew. Born as Vighnesh Shivanand and based in Bangalore, Brodha V draws inspiration from 2pac Shakur, Rakim, Big L, Big Pun, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Nas, DJ Premier, AR Rahman, Timbaland, and NWA stalwarts in the industry. Besides being a performing artist, he is also a composer, programmer, sound engineer, lyricist, scriptwriter and a film maker. As a part of the MWA crew, he has worked for over 40 films in India. He has collaborated with Times Music, etc. for various events organized by them and has also been a part of an album presented by Think Music India. Brodha V ‘s mettle was undisputed in an underground rap tournament held in 2008, where he was adjudged The King of Rap, South India. He has worked with Raghu Dixit and Yash Raj Films as a part of MWA in the movie 'Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge'. SuVi is a California based Singer-Songwriter / Artist of East Indian origin who gained recognition after having sung on several projects for Grammy & Oscar winning composer, A.R Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Million Dollar Arm). SuVi entered the Indian music industry as a teenager, through the first southern pop band, to be signed with Sony BMG called S5.!! Simangavole perform the traditional yet powerful Maloya rhythm, the music of the slaves of Réunion island, a French territory located in the Indian Ocean between Mauritius and Madagascar. Maloya is usually sung in Réunion Creole, traditionally with a purely percussion accompaniment. Maloya can be compared to the American music of the blues, often lyrically reflective speaking of the woes of life, slavery and poverty and is similar in its chant-response structure. Maloya also has links to Sega, the folk music of the Mascarene Islands which comprise Mauritus, Rodrigues, Seychelles and Réunion.
Maloya was banned until the sixties because of its strong association with Creole Culture. Performances by some maloya groups were banned until the eighties, partly because of their autonomist beliefs and association with the mantra of the Communist Party. There are known artists in the community who were imprisoned for practicing Maloya however, in 2009, Maloya was inscribed on the Representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO.

Lakshminarayana Shankar (born 26 April 1950), also known as L. Shankar and Shenkar, is an Indian-born American violinist, singer and composer. He has worked extensively in both traditional music from India, and in jazz, free improvisation and popular music, notably with singer Peter Gabriel in the latter. During the 1980s, Shankar recorded periodically as a leader, doing both jazz-based material and Indian classical music. His 1980 release of the album Who's To Know on ECM introduced the unique sound of his own invention, the ten-string, stereophonic double violin. This instrument, designed by Shankar and built by noted guitar maker Ken Parker, covers the entire orchestral range, including double bass, cello, viola and violin. He has recently developed a newer version of his instrument which is much lighter than the original.

The Janski Beeeats project is shouldered from 2007 by the musician and illustrator Jansé. Off stage, he writes acomic (inspired by japanese manga) that tells the story of Janski, a young boy who needs music to fight against his infection. On stage, Jansé embodies his character and plunges us into his universe, thanks to the video projections. With his chiptunes, synthesized melodies and frenetic beats, he turns the dance floor into a Space Invaders game ! Unlike other electro music shows, Janski Beeeats is not a DJ and he most certainly knows how to add a touch of rock’n’roll to his performance. His incendiary guitar skills and keytar solos make him a real Electro Hero.

Their project is the fusion of different ethnicities and cultures, the singer is Israeli from Iranian origin, the santur player is Turkish the guitarist is French and they cooperate with musicians from different origin as well (Turkish, English and more). With the strength and openness of their youth and the various musical influences they have, they intuitively created a original colourful blend of their inner voices with flavours that would carry the imagination on a travel trough the Middle east and beyond.

The ensembles toured India several times, performing at prestigious venues like the Delhi India International Centre and the Fireflies Festival of Music (the ‘Woodstock of India’).
Naila Joseph, a Trinidadian born singer, did her first recording at the tender age of 3. Being a daughter of a pastor and a music teacher, Naila's earliest musical influences were due to her exposure to gospel and classical music within her household. She recalls her childhood home as being always filled with students coming in and out for lessons, choir rehearsals and band practices. As time progressed her passion for singing intensified, her first solo performances taking place in local churches by the age of nine.

Hailing from a musically affluent family, he was introduced to the world of instrumental music at the age of three, by his uncle B. Sasikumar, a laureate in Carnatic music.
Fantazio, wild improviser, was abducted by Tamils Kavitha Gopi and Paul Jacob, his mentor, Indian punks drawing on the songs and poems of ancient India to feed a traditional music and avant-garde. After years of tumultuous quest, he finds himself finally domesticated, drawn up by both Tamils to record a new album that will unite punk culture, former Hinduism, rockabilly, hip-hop and burlesque.
