Global Isai Festival is back in 2020 to bring the music lovers of Chennai an eclectic mix of artists from all over the world. This year features bands from India, Israel, Spain, France and US. Apart from music, the festival also hosts dance battles, graffiti battles, a hip-hop showcase, drum circle and other experiential acts - in 3 different stages.

The 9^th edition of the festival is happening in Phoenix Marketcity, Chennai on the 22^nd and 23^rd of February. Line-up to be announced soon.

The Road to GIF - a 2 day indie festival held on January 4 & 5 at Buck's Theatre, YMCA Ground - was a prelude to the Global Isai Festival, 2020. It hosted a diverse range of home-grown indie artists, open-mics for cstand-up comedians, poets, beatboxers and singers, and a range of upcycled art installations produced by Indian Garbage.
